JOB SUMMARY
- Provides expert-level technical support in PCBA, motor and electronic systems
- Leading root cause analysis and corrective actions for electrical-related issues in mass production.
- The role acts as a technical advisor to project and manufacturing teams to ensure product quality, reliability and manufacturability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead root cause analysis for electrical/electronic issues related to PCBA, motor, ESD, SMT and electronic components.
- Define and drive containment, corrective and preventive actions to minimize production impact.
- Support on-line troubleshooting together with PE team in mass production.
- Review and provide technical input on schematic, and design changes.
- Support NPI/NPD activities, including risk assessment and design readiness.
- Act as technical advisor for project engineers and cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with Process, Quality, ME and suppliers on electrical-related issues.
- Prepare technical reports, RCA documentation and lessons learned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years in electrical/electronics engineering within manufacturing or NPI environment.
- Hands-on experience with PCBA, SMT processes, motor, ESD system.
- PCBA design & manufacturing fundamentals.
- IPC standards IPC (-A-610, -J-STD-001, -7711/7721)
- SMT defects and soldering processes.
- Motor control basics and electronic components failure modes.
- RCA tools (5 Why, Fishbone), basic DFMEA/PFMEA understanding.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Hands-on with electrical test equipment.
- Clear technical communication and reporting.
- Electrical failure analysis & debug.
- PCBA / SMT issue investigation.
- High ownership, able to work under production pressure.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to mentor junior engineers.
- Good English skill and communication skill.
