Job Description

  • Support the PIE team in introducing new products (NPD/NPI) into mass production by reviewing process setup, validation, risk assessment activities and coordinating QB/PP builds.
  •  Ensure all preventive and corrective actions are implemented before MP to achieve stable and efficient production.
  • The role requires a proactive, learning-oriented mindset and ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure manufacturing environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES

  • Follow up all assigned NPD projects from early stage to mass production.
  • Coordinate the readiness meeting with cross-functional team for QB/PP build.
  • Track process trial schedule, Equipment, Jig, WI, Man, Material, etc. readiness.
  • Follow up open issues list (PSR) from builds and ensure closure before MP.
  • Create PFMEA and keep updating until stable production.
  • Review all relevant document during project phases such as Process Flow, WI, Layout, Fixture design, Machine setting, Design Specification, etc.
  • Support key quality activities: process audits, and problem-solving (8D, 5 Why, fishbone).
  • Join daily/weekly layered process audits (LPA) at shopfloor.
  • Follow up on audit findings, support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Assist in audit documentation, tracking completion status, and communicating with stakeholders.
  • Complete all required deliverables and over process to PE team after mass production confirmation.

Job Requirement

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field.

Experience:

  •  At least 2 years' experience in process engineering, Process Quality or manufacturing engineering (fresh graduate welcome).

Knowledge:

  • Basic knowledge of process flow, PFMEA, and lean manufacturing.
  • Understanding of 5M1E, DOE, or Six Sigma methodology.

Functional Skills:

  • Able to use MS Office, and basic data analysis tools.
  • Experience in NPI process or pilot build is an advantage.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset.

Other Abilities:

  • Good communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.
  • English communication (reading and writing) at working level.
  • Positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and high ownership.
  • Able to work under high pressure with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Good adaptability.
