Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

Senior PIE Engineer (Data) is responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing manufacturing data systems, while developing new data solutions including dashboards, web based applications and automated reporting to support operational visibility and decision making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES

- Maintain and improve existing data collection systems, dashboards and web pages.

- Develop new dashboards, web-based applications and data features based on manufacturing needs.

- Design and manage automated reports, alerts and email reminders.

- Ensure data accuracy, stability and performance of data systems.

- Work with PIE, ME, QE and IT to translate manufacturing requirements into data solutions.

- Support continuous improvement using data-driven insights.

Job Requirement

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.

Experience:

- 3+ years experience in manufacturing data, system or industrial engineering roles

- Proven experience in maintaining and developing manufacturing data systems.

Knowledge:

- Dashboard and BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau).

- Database fundamentals (SQL).

- Data & Backend: SQL, Python (Pandas)

- Web: HTML, CSS, JavaScript; basic framework (Flask / Django / Node.js)

- Automation: Python scripts, Microsoft Power Platform (PBI, Power Automate, PowerApps)

- Platform: SharePoint, internal web server, or cloud platform (Azure/AWS – basic)

Functional Skills

- Good communication in English

- Strong data analysis, system maintenance and development capability.

- Dashboard design and data visualization.

- Manufacturing data system maintenance and enhancement.

- Dashboard and web-based reporting development.

- Data validation, data quality and system reliability.

- Integration between shop-floor systems and web/BI platforms
