Preventive Maintenance Engineer/ Senior Engineer - Cu Chi (having shuttle bus)

Working location: Tan Phu Trung Industrial Park - Cu Chi (Having shuttle bus from HCMC, Binh Duong, Dong Nai)

SUMMARY:

Support stable and efficient production operations by managing changeover preparation, production validation, equipment readiness, and technical documentation. Work closely with Production, PMC, and Quality teams to troubleshoot issues, analyze performance data, and drive continuous improvement. 

MAIN TASKS:

• Prepare and maintain changeover (CO) documentation including checklists, line setup guides, fixture and tooling instructions, and production validation criteria for each model.
• Perform production validation at line startup and after each changeover: verify process parameters, conduct first-article inspection, and obtain handover sign-off.
• Troubleshoot machine, fixture, and process issues on the production floor; apply structured problem-solving methods (5-Why, 8D, Fishbone) and issue RCA/CAPA documentation.
• Collect and analyze production performance data — downtime, CO duration, manhour losses, and defect trends — and provide regular reports and visual summaries for management.
• Develop and sustain Autonomous Maintenance (AM) standards, daily inspection checklists, and 5S discipline across all assigned production areas.
• Maintain complete technical documentation for machines, fixtures, and tooling: operating instructions, machine manuals, spare parts lists, fixture registers, and engineering change records.
• Plan and manage short-term and long-term ME activities: CO preparation schedules, machine and fixture availability, maintenance windows, and equipment investment proposals.
• Support the preventive maintenance program by reviewing PM schedules, updating work instructions, tracking completion, and monitoring maintenance effectiveness..
• Coordinate with Production, PMC, and Quality teams on engineering readiness, issue resolution, and continuous improvement activities

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field 
• Good communication in English
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on of experience in manufacturing or production engineering. Experience in changeover management, equipment troubleshooting, and process documentation. 
• Knowledge: 

1. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills; familiar with RCA methodologies and quality tools.
2. Good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools, including 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement concepts.

• Functional skills:

1. Able to read technical drawings, machine schematics, and electrical diagrams.
2. Ability to install, troubleshoot and modify machines according to drawings, electrical diagrams PLC, HMI understanding and programming is a plus
3. Capable of supporting machine setup, improvement, and troubleshooting activities.
