Responsible for managing import shipments to ensure timely, compliant, and efficient delivery to factories, while handling daily operations and proactively identifying improvement opportunities and contributing to process improvement projects.
- Manage import shipments across FCL, LCL, Air/Courier, Cross-border, and On-spot modes.
- Coordinate with Forwarders, Carriers, Suppliers, Customs Brokers, and Factories to ensure smooth shipment execution.
- Verify import documents, including Invoice, Packing List, B/L, C/O, and ensure customs compliance.
- Manage customs declarations, clearance, and customs-related issues.
- Monitor shipment status and coordinate delivery/trucking schedules to meet factory requirements.
- Handle DG/Non-DG and chemical declaration requirements where applicable.
- Monitor operational deviations and escalate issues to the Supervisor.
- Prepare reports and support SOP development, process improvement, and cost optimization.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
