Shipping specialist

JOB SUMMARY

The OPD / Shipping Specialist is responsible for order processing and shipment coordination, ensuring timely and accurate execution of export activities across all shipping modes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES

• Process customer orders and shipment transactions in the Oracle system, ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment.
• Prepare export shipment plans, including place booking, SI/IFS submission to forwarders, and trucking arrangements.
• Coordinate export shipments to different regions across all transportation modes, including sea, air, courier, and trucking.
• Manage departmental reports related to logistics and shipping expenses, vendor performance, and internal KPIs.
• Support day-to-day logistics operations, including trucking arrangements, customs shipment documentation, and issue resolution.
• Monitor shipment progress and coordinate with internal teams (PMC, Production, WH, etc.), forwarders, customs brokers, truckers, and other relevant parties to ensure shipments meet required schedules.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency, cost control, data accuracy, and service performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS

• University graduate.
• 1–2 years of experience in import/export within a manufacturing company; EPE experience is preferred.
• Good computer skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ERP. Good Excel and ERP knowledge are required.
• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Data analysis skills (Power BI / Power Query) are preferred.
• Knowledge of dangerous goods is preferred.
• Skilled in order processing, shipment arrangement, and shipping expense control.
• Knowledge of project management is preferred.
• Able to use VNACCS software.
• Able to work independently and under tight deadlines.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.

WORKING LOCATION: SHTP -  HCMC. Shuttle bus from HCM, Binh Duong and Dong Nai are available.
