Job Description

Job Summary

As a Senior Quality Engineer, lead quality initiatives for New Product Development, Product Support, and Value Engineering projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, reliability, and readiness while meeting project goals for time-to-market, cost, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Product Development:
    • Develop and execute test procedures to validate product specifications.
    • Lead risk assessments (design/manufacturing) to ensure quality readiness.
    • Drive quality improvements for new and existing products.
  • Quality Planning:
    • Develop QC strategies and control plans (incoming, in-process, outgoing) to meet critical-to-quality (CTQ) requirements.
    • Coordinate with global manufacturing and suppliers for new product launch readiness.
    • Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, quality, supply chain) globally.
  • Systems & Processes:
    • Utilize Microsoft 365/PowerBI for KPI reporting and develop QDA systems for metrics like OEE.
    • Design DOEs to optimize manufacturing processes (e.g., slitting, heat treatment, assembly).
  • Metrology:
    • Develop in-house metrology SOPs and implement best practices with corporate teams.
    • Redefine measurement standards (MSOP, DMP) for suppliers and in-house use.
    • Support VN HT and PT Metrology Labs with GD&T, CMM programming, and Calypso 2023 expertise.

Job Requirement

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Metallurgical, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3+ years as a Senior Quality Engineer, with expertise in metal, plastic, and electronic products.
  • Knowledge: Proficient in Six Sigma, ISO 9001, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC, DOE, 8D, AQL Sampling.
  • Skills:
    • Strong GD&T and 2D/3D mechanical drawing expertise.
    • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Fluent in English (written/spoken).
    • Team player, proactive, and able to work independently under pressure.
    • Ability to multitask effectively.
