Job Description

Job Summary

Lead quality efforts for new product development and product support projects. Ensure products meet quality, reliability, and timeline goals by working closely with global engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Product Quality & Reliability

    • Develop and run tests to confirm product specifications and quality.

    • Identify and address risks in design and manufacturing processes.

    • Improve quality for new and existing products.

  2. Quality Planning & Execution

    • Create quality control plans with global teams to address critical specifications.

    • Manage audits, inspections, and control plans to meet customer needs.

    • Collaborate with U.S. and Asia teams for successful product launches.

    • Lead global meetings with engineering, operations, and suppliers.

  3. Systems & Processes

    • Build clear quality systems and standard procedures.

    • Use Microsoft 365 and PowerBI to track and report performance metrics.

    • Optimize manufacturing processes like heat treatment, assembly, and more.

  4. Metrology

    • Develop measurement standards and best practices with corporate teams.

    • Update measurement procedures for suppliers and in-house teams.

    • Train and support metrology labs using GD&T and CMM programming.

Job Requirement

    • Experience: Minimum 3 years as a Senior Quality Engineer, with experience in metal, plastic, and electronic products.

    • Knowledge: Familiar with Six Sigma, ISO 9001, and quality tools like FMEA, Control Plans, and Statistical Process Control.

    • Skills:

      • Proficient in GD&T and 2D/3D technical drawings.

      • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

      • Fluent in English (written and spoken).

    • Abilities: Work independently, manage multiple tasks, and thrive under pressure.
