Job Description

Department: Security

Reports to: Security Director

Location: Green Planet Factory, Tan Phu Trung Industrial Park, Cu Chi, HCMC

JOB SUMMARY:

The Assistant Security Manager is responsible for assisting the Security Director in all aspects of the factory's security operations. This includes protecting the company's assets, personnel, and information from theft, damage, and unauthorized access. The Assistant Security Manager will help to develop, implement, and maintain security policies and procedures, oversee Access Control and CCTV system, manage a team of contract security guards, and respond to security incidents. This role requires a strong understanding of security principles, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operational Management:
    • Assist in the day-to-day management of the security department.
    • Conduct regular security audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
    • Oversee access control systems, visitor management, and vehicle traffic.
    • Monitor and operate surveillance systems (CCTV) to detect and deter security threats.
    • Help manage and maintain security equipment, including alarms, cameras, and fire suppression systems.
  • Personnel Supervision & Training:
    • Supervise and provide guidance to a team of security staff and contracted security guards.
    • Assist in the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of security personnel.
    • Develop and deliver regular training sessions on security procedures, emergency response, and risk awareness.
    • Foster a culture of vigilance and professionalism within the security team.
  • Incident Response & Investigation:
    • Serve as a first responder to security incidents, including theft, accidents, fires, and medical emergencies.
    • Assist in conducting internal investigations into security breaches, violations, or other incidents.
    • Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports and documentation.
    • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
  • Policy & Procedure Implementation:
    • Assist the Security Manager/ Director in developing, implementing, and reviewing security policies and procedures.
    • Ensure all security protocols are followed by employees, contractors, and visitors.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and new security technologies.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Assist in budget preparation and management for the security department.
    • Maintain accurate records of security incidents, activities, and personnel files.
    • Prepare regular reports for the Security Manager and senior management on security performance and issues.

 

Job Requirement

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Public Security, Police or a related field preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of managerial experience in a corporate or industrial security role.
    • Experience working in a manufacturing or factory environment is highly desirable.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of security principles, methods, and procedures.
    • Proficiency with security technology, including CCTV, access control systems, and alarm systems.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Advanced English.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Certifications:
  • English certificate equivalent to TOEIC score of 500 or higher is a plus.

*Working location: Tan Phu Trung IZ - Cu Chi  - HCMC. Shuttle bus from HCM, Binh Duong and Dong Nai are available.
