Job Description

Position Overview: 

The Training Specialist is a key role designed for individuals who will become the future leaders of the training team within their respective factories. This position focuses on developing leadership, lean manufacturing expertise, and soft skills training to prepare for managerial roles within the company. The Training Specialist will create, refine, and deliver structured training programs, ensuring continuous workforce development and operational excellence. 

This role is ideal for those who want to move beyond hands-on training and focus on higher-level leadership, process improvement, and strategic workforce development. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Leadership Development & Training Strategy 

  • Act as a training leader in the factory, developing structured training programs for workforce development. 

  • Identify skills gaps and create training initiatives for both operational and leadership development. 

  • Mentor and coach indirect labor trainers, helping them grow their skills and enhance training effectiveness. 

  • Develop and facilitate soft skills training, including communication, problem-solving, and leadership training for employees who want to advance beyond hands-on roles. 

Lean & Process Improvement 

  • Work with factory leadership to align training initiatives with business goals and operational improvements. 

  • Implement lean manufacturing principles in training programs, ensuring employees adopt efficiency-driven work habits. 

  • Continuously assess and refine training content, SOPs, and best practices to improve knowledge transfer and productivity. 

Training Program Development & Evaluation 

  • Design training materials, including manuals, presentations, and e-learning modules, to enhance knowledge retention. 

  • Establish KPIs to measure training effectiveness, such as skills assessment scores, production efficiency improvements, and knowledge retention metrics. 

  • Conduct periodic training audits and work with management to adjust programs based on workforce needs. 

 

Job Requirement

Qualifications: 

  • Education: College degree in a relevant field preferred but not required. 

  • Experience: At least 3-5 years in production, quality, or training roles, with a focus on leadership development. 

  • Skills: 

  • Fluent in English with strong communication and presentation abilities. 

  • Experience in employee development, training, and mentorship. 

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and ability to integrate them into training programs. 

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills to track training progress and effectiveness. 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and training development tools.
