Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

- Supervise PIE activities in troubleshooting, process improvement, project/NPI support, and audit compliance.

- Ensure stable processes, product quality, and team capability.

- Develop and coach PIE engineering teams to achieve both operational excellence and strategic objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES 

- Lead problem-solving for process, equipment, material, and quality issues in production.

- Ensure root cause analysis and sustainable corrective/preventive actions. (CAPA).

- Provide technical support to minimize downtime and defects.

- Creating and maintain PFMEA timely with any issue or change in process.

- Validate engineering changes (ECO/ECN) and new materials before release.

- Support new product introduction, EB/QB/PP/1st MP.

- Apply lessons learned from existing products to new launches.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project targets.

- Keep track and close findings on time with effective actions.

- Ensure engineering documents and process changes comply with standards.

- Manage, coach, and evaluate Leaders, Engineers, and Technicians.

- Identify skill gaps and implement training plans.

- Build a culture of ownership and problem-solving.

- Consolidate and present troubleshooting, project, audit, and KPI reports.

- Communicate priorities, risks, and support needs to management.

Job Requirement

  • Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related)
  • Good communication in English
  • Experience: At least 5 years experience in Manufacturing/Process/Quality Engineering and min 1 years with leadership exposure
  • Knowledge:

- Troubleshooting methodologies (RCA, 5Why, 8D).

- PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, and process documentation.

- Process capability, yield analysis, and quality tools.

- Audit requirements (ISO, IATF, customer standards).

- Manufacturing processes in electronic/consumer goods industry (preferred)
