Job Description

Motor design and support a team in a new product development and an existing product improvement. 
1.Follow up product development from the initial design stage to mass production release.

2.Review product specification with project teams.

3.Make motor drawings, specifications and BOM.

4.Design review and validation

5.Work with purchasing in component sourcing and validation

6.Conduct product cost analysis for new development products

7.Conduct cost reduction program for existing products

8.Coordinate with program teams to monitor new project development.

This position will be based in SHTP Factory, District 9, Ho Chi Minh City. Shuttle bus from District 1, 7,10,12, Go Vap, Tan Binh/Binh Duong/Dong Nai is available.

Job Requirement

  1. University Degree in Electrical and Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronic or other related Engineering discipline or equivalent
  2. Minimum 2 years relevant experiences in project follow up in the engineering industry. Working in power tools field is an advantage.
  3. Experience in Motor design & manufacturing process, BLDC is preferred.\
  4. Good English in both Writen and Verbal
  5. Good computer experience with Windows, Microsoft Office, email communication, CAD. Familiar with application for safety approval such as UL, CSA, CE, BS,
  6. Motor knowledge: BLDC is preferred
  7. Product design; CAD knowledge
  8. Safety approval knowledge
  9.  Technical problem-solving skills, Project management technique, Project planning and scheduling
  10. Innovation and change
  11. Promote teamwork
  12. Take initiative Communication, Cooperation Sense of responsibility
  13. Management skill & Negotiation
