Job Description

Overview:

- The Technician supports Engineers in troubleshooting production and in house process issues (man/machine/method/material), conducting Layered Process Audits (LPA), and tracking daily issues with action follow-up.

- The role also assists in data collection for risk assessment, PFMEA, and NPI/validation activities to ensure process reliability and product quality.

Job Description:

- Support Engineers in troubleshooting production, equipment/machine, man, method, material and process system issues.

- Participate in Layered Process Audits (LPA), record audit results, consolidate and report issues.

- Track and summarize daily issues, coordinate with Engineers and related departments to follow up actions until closure.

 - Assist in data collection for investigation and documentation for PFMEA, risk assessment, DOE, and validation projects.

- Perform measurements and testing using electrical, mechanical, and optical tools as required.

- Support trial builds for NPI/NPD, review process parameters, and record test results.

- Conduct basic maintenance for lab equipment, jigs, tools, and work areas.

- Prepare samples, test setups, and technical reports under Engineer guidance.

Job Requirement

Education: College/University degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Industial Engineering, or related technical fields.

Experience:

- At least 2 years' experience in manufacturing.

- Preferably with experience in electronics or industrial manufacturing environments.

Knowledge:

- Basic technical English communication is an advantage.

- Knowledge about Lean 6 sigma is a plus.

- Basic knowledge of electrical circuits, sensors, motors, and industrial equipment.

Skills: 

- Skilled in using measurement tools (multimeter, oscilloscope, force gauge, caliper, etc.).

- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.

- Able to consolidate issues and prepare daily action follow-up reports.

- Analytical mindset.

- Proactive;  Willing to learn; Good teamwork.
