Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting and overseeing reliability testing to ensure that our products are robust, reliable, and perform as expected in customer use environments. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure strict adherence to test matrix, plans, and work instructions

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES

  • Lead reliability testing in NPD stages and summarize the test results for the cross-functional team.
  • Ensure reliability test setup in the test lab according to standard/requirement.
  • Benchmark, CTQ, WI, QBTM review and feedback.
  • Develop a Test Plan/Matrix for Localization, VE/PSE products.
  • Implement Test Lab conformance audit and consolidate the audit report.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Project Leader, Design, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance) to ensure all reliability testing aligns with project goals and timelines.
  • Perform detailed test data analysis, identify potential reliability issues, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Attend new product technical reviews and provide constructive suggestions or comments from a reliability perspective.

Job Requirement

REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related field).

Experience

  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in reliability testing or a related field.

Knowledge

  • Knowledgeable and Quality-Oriented Thinking
  • Proficient in statistical analysis (SPC)
  • Proven experience in managing and executing reliability Test Plans and Testing.
  • Understanding and application of key reliability metrics (Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time To Repair (MTTR)) to assess product performance.
  • Knowledge of failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) and root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Experience in reliable data statistics with Minitab or Weibull is preferred.
  • Certification as a Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) is highly preferred.

Functional Skills

  • Good verbal and written communicator in English.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, teamwork as well.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical information.
  • Experience in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical modules
  • Competence in designing and executing accelerated life testing (ALT) and highly accelerated life testing (HALT) to quickly identify potential reliability issues.
