Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

Motor quality engineer’s major responsibility is to support new product development related quality engineering activities (APQP) for various motor categories and correspondent VE/PSE projects. Also, engineer needs to manage customer quality requirement & complain and drive internal team for quality improvement. Milwaukee Tool is an industry leader in Powered Tools and this role has direct influence in production release of motor up to our customer’s expectations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES

- Follow up production readiness of New Product Development projects as assigmed including system level validation, component and supplier readiness as below listing.

- Follow up all qualification run; ESB/EB/QB/PR issue closures and participate NPD global TCs posting qualification rediness sheet(QRS).

- Prepare product control plans per PFMEA risk asessment and refering to product CTQs

- Prepare assembly check cards for production level inspections.

- Review and follow up assembly fixture qualification in NPD manufacture (Cpk & GR&R etc)

- Follow up new part qualification per Supplier Part Qualification Requirements (SPQR) with SQE.

- Participate Design For Manufacturing & Assembly (DFMA) meetings with CFTs providing necessary comments.

- Drive customer complaint/warranty case handling per BRK global customer service direction.

- Support for continuous quality improvement activities/projects as quality management KPI  direction.

- Leverage the lessons learned from previous projects, customer complaints, and warranty.

 

Job Requirement

REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent engineering degree.

Experience

  • 3 years’ experience working in manufacturing. Familiar with mechanical process and manufacturing processes

Functional Skills

- 3 years’ experience working in manufacturing.

- Familiar with mechanical process and manufacturing processes

- Excelent in written/spoken English and Vietnamese. Speaking Mandarine is plus.

- Proven quality system experience and familiar with quality standards such as ISO9000, TS16949, preferred with basic Six Sigma knowlege/practsie.

- Good knowledge in SPC Tools, FMEA, DOE and GD/T etc

- Good interpersonal skill and team player.

  • Good communication and influence skill, team-working skill. Excellent organizational skills, strong analytical ability, strong quality related skills.
